Adrian Wooley, the accomplished former Paul W. Bryant High School – Tuscaloosa City basketball standout, took the court for the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, Feb. 28 in an 80-75 defeat against the Clemson Tigers.
The sophomore guard, standing 6′4″, posted 17 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 23 minutes played.
Wooley and Louisville will next host the Syracuse Orange on Tuesday, March 3 at 9 p.m.
Game Two of the NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional between Alabama and St. John’s has been delayed by one hour due to inclement weather. The new first pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m., with gates opening at 1:30 p.m.
The NCAA Outdoor Championships will be held June 10-13 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Events will air live on ESPN networks with additional streaming coverage available via ESPN+.
Doris Lemngole has been named Southeastern Conference Women’s Runner of the Year after standout performances at this year’s championships. The Alabama athlete made history with her third straight steeplechase title and additional victories.
