Alabama baseball begins fourth week of spring training with fan events scheduled

Alabama baseball is set to start its fourth week of spring practice at Sewell-Thomas Stadium in Tuscaloosa. The team will open the week with a practice on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Central Time, followed by an intrasquad scrimmage on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Additional team workouts are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.

The weekend will feature three scrimmages, starting with a Friday game at 2:45 p.m. Saturday’s schedule includes Fan Day, which features a team scrimmage at 1 p.m. along with events for attendees before and after the exhibition. The week concludes with another scrimmage on Sunday, also beginning at 1 p.m.

Dates and times for all practices and scrimmages are available each Monday on RollTide.com. Future scrimmages may be subject to change, and their length will vary from game to game.

Admission to all on-field activities is free for the public. Gates open approximately 30 minutes before each event, and fans should enter through the main gate (Gate 3) behind home plate. Access is limited to the lower bowl seating area, with upper levels closed to visitors.

“Dates and times of all practices and scrimmages for the upcoming week can be found on RollTide.com each Monday. All future scrimmages are subject to change. The length will be determined on a game-to-game basis. Spaced out between scrimmages are the team’s regularly scheduled practice sessions.”

“Admission to Alabama baseball’s on-field activity is free to the public. Gates will open each day at approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of practice and/or the scrimmage. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are to stay in the lower bowl seating area with access to the upper levels of the stadium strictly prohibited.”

– Monday: Practice – 3:50 p.m.
– Tuesday: Scrimmage – 3:30 p.m.
– Wednesday: Practice – 2 p.m.
– Thursday: Practice – 3:30 p.m.
– Friday: Scrimmage – 2:45 p.m.
– Saturday: Scrimmage – 1 p.m.
– Sunday: Scrimmage – 1 p.m.
