Alabama baseball began its preparations for the 2026 season with its first organized team practice at Sewell-Thomas Stadium on Tuesday. The session included various drills, simulated pre-game activities, and detailed instruction as the team geared up for the upcoming campaign.

Head coach Rob Vaughn commented on the team’s readiness: “I’m fired up to be back. The guys look like they’re in a pretty good spot, and we’ll find out pretty quick, but the guys put in the work this offseason and we’re ready to go.”

The Crimson Tide will continue their preseason schedule with another team practice set for Wednesday at 2 p.m. Central Time. These practices are open to the public at no cost. Fans can enter through Gate 3, located behind home plate, approximately 30 minutes before each session begins. Attendees are required to remain in the lower bowl seating area; access to upper levels is not permitted.

For updates or changes related to practice schedules or weather-related cancellations, information will be provided on Alabama baseball’s X/Twitter account (@AlabamaBSB) and Facebook page.
