Alabama football announced on Mar. 23 that the annual Golden Flake A-Day will take place on Saturday, April 11 at Saban Field in Bryant-Denny Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. Central Time.
The event serves as a spring highlight for fans and the university community, offering free admission and public parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. The day includes several traditional activities such as the Walk of Fame ceremony at Denny Chimes beginning at 11 a.m., where head coach Kalen DeBoer will be joined by team captains Parker Brailsford, Tim Keenan III, Deontae Lawson and Ty Simpson.
Following the ceremony, members of the 2026 roster will participate in the Walk of Champions leading into Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium at 12:45 p.m., before taking part in a two-hour scrimmage. Gates to the stadium open at noon with entry through designated gates. The university’s clear bag policy and metal detectors will be enforced for all attendees. The first 5,000 fans to arrive will receive a limited-edition commemorative poster.
Due to preparations for an upcoming concert inside Bryant-Denny Stadium on April 18, several modifications have been made to this year’s A-Day experience. There will be no access to suites or club spaces; seating is limited to the lower bowl; concessions are restricted to select areas with limited menus; upgraded experiences such as locker room tours or reserved seating are not available; there is no TIDE PRIDE Breakfast/Luncheon prior to A-Day; and pregame fan fest activities in Vector Security Champions Lane are suspended.
In addition to A-Day festivities, other athletic events are scheduled throughout Tuscaloosa during the weekend including track and field’s Crimson Tide Invitational starting Friday at Sam Bailey Track & Field Stadium (admission free), baseball against Arkansas from Friday through Sunday at Sewell-Thomas Stadium (tickets required), and soccer versus Florida State on Saturday afternoon (admission free).
