The University of Alabama men’s golf team will begin postseason play at the Southeastern Conference Men’s Golf Championship, which starts April 22 in St. Simon’s Island, Georgia.

The event is important as it brings together top-ranked teams from across the conference for a five-day tournament. The format includes 54 holes of stroke play over three days, with the eight best teams advancing to match play on April 25 and 26.

Last season, Alabama reached the semifinals in match play for the first time since 2018. This year, they are ranked No. 17 and will compete against other highly ranked programs such as No. 1 Auburn, No. 4 Florida, and No. 5 Arkansas.

Alabama’s lineup for the championship includes William Jennings, Jonathan Griz, Brycen Jones, Connor Brown, and Nick Gross. Jack Mitchell is listed as an alternate.

Fans can watch Saturday’s semifinals live on SEC+ at noon Central Time (1 p.m. Eastern). The championship match will be broadcast live on SEC Network Sunday morning at 7 a.m. Central Time (8 a.m. Eastern).

Looking ahead, this tournament serves as an opportunity for Alabama to build on last year’s progress and measure itself against some of the nation’s strongest collegiate golf programs.
