Alabama men’s golf to compete in Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational

The Alabama men’s golf team, currently ranked No. 11 in the nation, will compete in the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational starting Monday. The tournament is set to take place over two days at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

This year’s field features a strong lineup with seven of the top 11 teams and 13 of the top 25 programs nationally, according to the latest Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) poll. The event honors Ben Hogan’s legacy and his five victories at Colonial National Invitational, drawing leading collegiate teams from across the country.

Alabama’s starting lineup for the tournament includes Jonathan Griz, William Jennings, Luke Powell, Brycen Jones, and Connor Brown.

The event will be played on a par-70 course measuring 7,289 yards. Teams competing alongside Alabama include Arizona State (No. 2), Auburn (No. 1), Georgia (No. 21), Georgia Tech (No. 18), North Carolina (No. 14), Oklahoma (No. 7), Pepperdine (No. 20), Stanford, Texas (No. 5), Texas A&M (No. 16), TCU, Texas Tech (No. 19), Vanderbilt (No. 6), and Virginia (No. 8).
