Alabama softball to host top-ranked Texas for three-game series at Rhoads Stadium

Alabama will host the defending national champion and top-ranked Texas softball team for a three-game series beginning April 2 at Rhoads Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

The matchup features two of the highest-ranked teams in college softball, with Alabama currently ranked fourth and Texas holding the number one spot. The series is significant as it brings together two teams with strong records this season: Alabama stands at 33-2 overall and 7-2 in Southeastern Conference play, while Texas enters with a 31-2 record and an 8-1 mark in conference games.

The games are scheduled to take place over three days. The first game will be held on Thursday, April 2 at 6 p.m. Central Time. The second game is set for Friday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m., airing on SEC Network. The final game of the series will be played Saturday, April 4 at 5 p.m., broadcast on ESPN.
