On Friday, Feb. 7, former Brookwood High School standouts Jessica Cross and Karlee Pierson’s current college team, the West Alabama Tigers, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tampa Spartans.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium against Saint Leo Lions.
