On Friday, Feb. 28, former Brookwood High School standout Rylee Butler’s current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Rhode Island Rams.

The game took place at Catamount Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Rams this season.

The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at Catamount Softball Complex against Presbyterian Blue Hose.
