Hillcrest High School standout Payte Williams’ college team lost in NCAA Division II baseball game on Wednesday, March 26

On Wednesday, March 26, former Hillcrest High School standout Payte Williams’ current college team, the Auburn Montgomery Warhawks, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Columbus State Cougars.

The game took place at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Warhawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. at Jim Spooner Field against West Florida Argonauts.
