On Friday, May 16, former Tuscaloosa Academy standout Jordan Evans’ current collegiate team the Mississippi Choctaws lost 13-5 against the Tampa Spartans in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 5:20 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Tampa Spartans in the tournament.

The Mississippi Choctaws’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 5 p.m. at UT Baseball Field.
