On Friday, Feb. 7, former Northside High School standout Kinley Pate’s current college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Michigan State Spartans.

The game took place at Rita Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Crimson Tide’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 9:30 a.m. at Rita Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium against Washington Huskies.
