On March 21, Adrian Wooley, a former Paul W. Bryant High School standout from Tuscaloosa, and his Louisville Cardinals lost 77-69 to the Michigan State Spartans in the NCAA Tournament.
The matchup took place at the KeyBank Center and tipped off at 2:45 p.m.
Wooley posted 17 points, four rebounds, and three assists over 26 minutes of play.
Game Two of the NCAA Tuscaloosa Super Regional between Alabama and St. John’s has been delayed by one hour due to inclement weather. The new first pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m., with gates opening at 1:30 p.m.
The NCAA Outdoor Championships will be held June 10-13 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Events will air live on ESPN networks with additional streaming coverage available via ESPN+.
Doris Lemngole has been named Southeastern Conference Women’s Runner of the Year after standout performances at this year’s championships. The Alabama athlete made history with her third straight steeplechase title and additional victories.
