On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Paul W. Bryant High School – Tuscaloosa City standouts Brandon Gooden and Jayden Smith’s current college team, the LeMoyne-Owen Magicians, lost 16-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Benedict Tigers.

The game took place at Tiger Field. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Magicians’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Gameday Field against Albany State Golden Rams.
