On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Northside High School standout Sarah Lee’s current college team, the Mississippi Choctaws, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes.

The game took place at Sand Mountain Park. This was their first matchup against the Hurricanes this season.

The Choctaws’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at MC Softball Complex against West Alabama Tigers.
