City of Tuscaloosa issued the following announcement on Aug. 30.
Tuscaloosa homeowners can now apply for the City’s Residential Lateral Assistance Program (RLAP).
This program, managed by the Office of Community & Neighborhood Services, in cooperation with Infrastructure and Public Services, will assist homeowners in the city with replacement and repair of their sewer lateral.
Funding will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
