Tuscaloosa County School System issued the following announcement on Sept. 24.
Congratulations to five TCSS schools that were awarded grants from the Tuscaloosa Education Foundation. These grants will support each school in further developing its character education program. All five schools are involved in the Hope Leadership Academy, which is a three-year process of building a character-focused school culture. These schools are striving to create an environment that motivates students to learn and be goal-driven, while cultivating positive character traits that shape strong leaders for the future.
We are proud of the hard work these schools, and others in our district, are investing in character education. And thank you to the Tuscaloosa Education Foundation for your continued support of our schools!
