CITY OF TUSCALOOSA: City of Tuscaloosa to Offer Tree Recycling and Holiday Garbage Drop-Off

City of Tuscaloosa issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.

The City of Tuscaloosa host Christmas tree recycling and a staffed holiday garbage drop-off event.  

Between Dec. 26 and Jan. 8, live trees, wreaths, and garlands may be dropped off to be recycled at the Curry Environmental Services facility (3440 Kauloosa Ave.) Greenery must be completely free of decorations and lights. A separate bin will be available for recycling Christmas lights.

On Sunday, Dec. 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the City host a staffed holiday garbage drop-off event at the Curry Environmental Services facility (3440 Kauloosa Ave.) Along with holiday garbage, citizens are encouraged to bring their recycling to deposit in the recycling containers on site. This event will be touchless, and face coverings are required.
