Stillman College will host Dr. David Satcher, former United States Surgeon General, as the fall 2022 Realizing the Dream Distinguished Lecturer on Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. in Stinson Auditorium.
Dr. David Satcher, an Anniston native, was the 16th Surgeon General of the United States and former Secretary for Health in the Department of Health and Human Services. He was the second person in history to hold both posts simultaneously.
