The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office held its annual meeting and a retirement reception yesterday for Chief Deputy Byron Waid. Sheriff Abernathy and everyone at the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office would like to congratulate Chief Waid on his retirement after 36 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Tuscaloosa County.
