Of the 223,945 citizens living in Tuscaloosa County in 2021, 78.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 176,437 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 84,072 were male, constituting 47.6%, and 92,365 were female, making up 52.4%.
