On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Northside High School standout Kinley Pate’s current college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, won 14-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Michigan Broncos.

The game took place at Rita Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Broncos this season.

The Crimson Tide’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. at Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex against San Diego State Aztecs.
