On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Tuscaloosa County High School standout Mitt Landers’ current college team, the Montevallo Falcons, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Tuskegee Golden Tigers.

The game took place at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Tigers this season.

The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium against Mississippi Choctaws.
